The popular microblogging platform "Twitter" has permanently changed its official account to "X", amid reports indicating that it faces huge problems in the coming period.
From now on, if a person tries to access the official Twitter account, he will find it inactive; because he simply changed to the "X" account.

But with Twitter seeking to remove any trademark of"Twitter "and turn it into" X", the police removed the new brand badges from the company's headquarters in San Francisco due to the lack of a permit for the new brand.
Sources of the American agency "Bloomberg" the possibility of facing "Twitter" Serious Legal and financial problems due to the change of its brand to "X".
Rebranding could pose significant legal and financial challenges for the company, which has struggled since an advertiser's exit slashed the company's advertising revenue by more than 50%.
There are hundreds of companies, including Microsoft and meta, that own trademarks for various forms of "X", which could open the door to lawsuits and other legal problems that Musk will face.
Shobha Ghosh, a law professor at Syracuse University, says lawsuits are "very common" when big companies change their brand, change their names and logos.
"I'm kind of surprised that he chose X because it's not special, it's problematic; in the sense that there's nothing you can suddenly do without anyone noticing, and maybe get sued,"he added.
Trademark lawyer Josh Gerben said in a statement reported by the specialized technical website "Engadget" that he counted almost 900 other companies with trademarks on "X".
Although not all of them can credibly claim that the company formerly known as Twitter is interfering with its brand; it makes X an easy target.
"There is a 100% chance that Twitter / X will be sued by opportunistic and legitimate plaintiffs regarding the new name,"Gerben continued.
Even if Twitter is able to fend off legal challenges, there are serious commercial risks to getting rid of a globally well-known brand like Twitter.
"Bloomberg" reported that some analysts have estimated that the name change could erase billions of dollars from the value of a brand already damaged by Musk.
Ari Lightman, a professor of digital media marketing at Carnegie Mellon University, says that Twitter's problems go beyond the potential legal problems caused by its rebranding; adding, "the rise of thread chains and other competitors on Twitter".
